Heartburst by (OU) OFFICEUNTITLED represents the community and intention of Burning Man while using a sustainable and nearly carbon negative material. OU worked with SEAD Build, a Malaysian bamboo company, to ensure the structure was created with a material that is environmentally friendly, sustainable, ecologically positive, and structurally durable.
Using more than 880 bamboo poles, the sculpture is estimated to have had a carbon sink of -7.5 metric tons of CO2 – the equivalent to the annual carbon footprint of a US household.”
