The Harland, a residential community in West Los Angele, seeks to combine the spacious feeling and character of living within a single-family home, with the ease and convenience of the urban, multifamily apartment building. Blurring lines between indoor and outdoor space, light-filled levels of living are extended by personal balconies and expansive terraces. Balancing privacy and community, the design creates layered spaces around an interior courtyard, concealed by an undulating façade.
