Mirko Wanders is an inventive designer with over 15 years of professional experience. Having lived and worked in Europe, the United States, and Asia, Mirko Wanders brings a nuanced, global sensibility to his work. As Director of both interior and exterior architectural projects, he melds a depth of expertise in workplace, hospitality, sports, urban, and product design. Consistently pushing boundaries, he looks to a wide field of creative industries for inspiration to deliver thoughtful, and unique design solutions. An active member of the AEC community in Los Angeles, Mirko is driven to improve the design approach for a more sustainable outcome.
Holding a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Technische Universität Berlin, Mirko’s work has been honored with numerous industry awards including the Los Angeles Business Council (LABC); the International Interior Design Association (IIDA); and the American Institute of Architects (AIA), notably the AIA National Award for the groundbreaking design of the Hyundai Capital Convention Hall in Seoul, Korea. His work has appeared in several international publications, including Architect, Contract and Interior Design Magazines.
